Consultation with Dr. Miranda

Dr. Miranda sees each of his patients in his comfortable private office in the Laurel Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. After scheduling your consultation, an informational packet will be mailed to you with information about the procedure that you are interested in.

On the day of your consultation, you will be greeted by Elaine Ng, our Patient Coordinator, who is also a licensed aesthetician. Elaine will provide you with a patient questionnaire which reviews pertinent areas of your medical and surgical history.

Before and after photos are available to review at the time of your consultation.

Dr. Miranda sees each patient in either his consultation room or an examination room. Since Dr. Miranda prides himself in his dedication to detail and fully understanding each patient’s individual concerns, do not be surprised if the consultation lasts an hour or more. Dr. Miranda will listen to your concerns, discuss your options and conduct a physical examination. You can expect that digital pictures will be taken as appropriate. These pictures facilitate discussion with you as well as assist Dr. Miranda in planning for your plastic surgery procedure. The risks and benefits of each procedure are discussed in detail with you so that you have a more complete understanding of each of the options that Dr. Miranda has presented to you.

If you elect to have a procedure that Dr. Miranda suggests, the staff will provide you with an estimated cost. This estimate includes:

The pre-operative consultation,
The surgeon’s fee for the procedure,
The facility or hospital charges for the procedure (if any),
The anesthesiologist’s fee (if any),
The cost of implants (if any) and post-operative garments (if any), and
Routine post-operative care.

Payment Options and Financing

Dr. Miranda does everything that he can to facilitate your procedure. We accept ATM/Visa/MasterCard/Discover/AmericanExpress. Financing is available through either Care Credit or Capital One Financing. Links to each of these agencies are below, and determination of your qualifications for financing is easy and can often be completed in minutes.
